Monday, August 1                     7:00 am-Breakfast served in the cafeteria

7:30-11:00 am-All Winds and Sparkler students marching rehearsal at DHS, All Percussion at MS Band Hall

                                                11:00 am-LUNCH served in the cafeteria

12:00-3:00 pm-All Winds and Sparklers at HS, percussion sectionals at the MS Band Hall

                                                 4:15 pm-Senior Uniform Checkout

Friday, August 5                        7:00 am-Breakfast served in the cafeteria

7:30-9:00 am-All Winds, percussion, and Sparklers warm up on the Marching Pad

9:30 am-BAND PLACEMENT TEST.  This test will determine who has earned a spot in the 2022 Competition Marching Band.

                                11:00 am-LUNCH Pick up Brown Bag at the cafeteria and leave for the day.

No afternoon rehearsal.  Band Director planning meeting.

***First Evening Rehearsal will be Monday, August 15, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  ***

 

Things you need to know about camp:

1. Dress cool but keep in mind that the school dress code is in force.  T-shirts are safe.
2. Tennis shoes are mandatory for every student. Please-for your own safety absolutely no sandals or bare feet in marching rehearsals.
3. There will be sufficient breaks given.  There will be ice water at each outdoor rehearsal.  You are encouraged to bring your own drinks too.  Get outside as much as possible the week before camp so you can get used to the temperature.  Students who have the most problems are the ones who do not get outside much in the summer.
